So, this is my entry for the Miss Fabulous 2009 Pageant.

1) Swimsuit

Idea: So, I was browsing the Star Plaza for a new swimsuit. There was, no suprise, few. So I decided to look arond at sales. I found the perfect swimsuit for me at a felow superstar sale. The red bikini goes wellwith my blonde locks. Every girl needs a beach bag, and I love this white tote. The bangles are just, well, adorable. I love brightly coloured bangles. Stelleto's are a neccessity of every girl, and they didn't pop out too much and take the focus away from the swimsuit.

2) Evening Gown

Idea: As I browsed through Voile, I saw many pretty dresses. The only thing is, it is essential to be original, and I like eye popping pieces best. I saw this fringe dress and knew it was the dress for me. I love the look of fringe as you walk. For the see through blouse, I really wanted to work it into the outfit. It really is something that not many people could say they use, and although it amy l;ook rather girly, it is GORGEOUS. The belt over it was inspiration, I wanted to give it almost a rebel look, but I wanted the belt small, not bigand clunky. The shoes are nice and simple and don't take away from the dress. As for the earrings, I think they add just a touch of elegance that the dress needs. The gloves are just an essential to have in this outfit.

3) Talent

Idea: My talent(s) are opera singing and violin. I have been playing violin for about 14 years, and I love it. I always used to sing my favourite pop song, but when my mom wanted me to take singing lessons, my teacher "discovered" my opera voice. This scenery captures what I would want to perform at, a simple but glamorous stage, and I'm performing my favourite song to sing and play- Somewhere over the rainbow.

If you could change anything in the world what would it be? Why?
One thing that I can never get over is how terrible women are treated in the world today. It is terrible because we were all created equally, and we are all equals. We should spread love and kindness throughtout the world, not abuse and neglection. However, I know of several agencies that are helping women in the world, and one that a personal friend of mine started, which funds young girls to go to school. Whenever people ask me why I care so much, it's because these are women like you and I. We get meals everyday, a roof over our heads and an education. These woman get no education, only a meal if they can afford one, and getting roofs over heads sure costs a lot of money. We are treated nicely by boyfriends/husbands/brothers/fathers, and they get abused. The sad thing is that most women are too scared to confront their husbands. Next fall, I will be launching my own Stardoll line of clothing to promote my soon to be latest blog- SPOWAA (Society for Promotion Of Women Abuse Awareness).

Thanks for looking at my entry!
